2017 Season Recap:

Martin showed up in 2017 riding for a new team on new bike, looking to have his first supercross title within reach as one of the favorites. The Minnesota native earned a top 10 finish at the first two rounds and 11th place at round 3 in Anaheim before skipping two rounds due to a concussion. In between his chase for the 250SX Class Championship, Martin made his 450SX Class debut at round 10 in Daytona where he finished second riding for Honda HRC as Ken Roczen’s fill-in rider. J-Mart returned to the 250SX Class at round six in Arlington and finished 6th in his last race of the season after a crash before round 7 in Seattle forced him to the sidelines for the rest of the rounds.
