2017 Season Recap:

The oldest Martin brother showed up in 2017 riding for a new team and on a new brand of motorcycle in his ninth full season of supercross competition. Martin started off on a poor note after a crash at round 1 in Minneapolis forced him to DNF, but he bounced back the following weekend and scored his first and only podium of the season with a second-place finish at round 2 in Atlanta. The Minnesota native competed in three more rounds before sitting out the rest of the season following a crash at Detroit in which another rider collided with Martin.
